Every human heart is filled with love. We spend our lives searching for ways to know and express the great love that exists within us.

In her message for 2000, Gurumayi Chidvilasananda tells us that we naturally want to make tangible the love that wells up after receiving shaktipat - the inner spiritual awakening. Our hearts yearn to bring forth expressions of this inner divinity.

The second annual Winter Retreat Art Exhibit is a collection of juried art from artists all over the world who were inspired by Gurumayi words. The feelings of love and devotion are so apparent in each work of art. The original exhibit was hosted at the Atlanta Siddha Yoga Meditation Center in December 2000 and displayed via satellite broadcast to all the centers participating in the Winter Love Retreat.

These paintings, sculptures, photographs and other media offer each of us an opportunity to experience Gurumayi's words in a fresh and deeply moving way. We believe that all who view it will be uplifted by its message of -- LOVE!
